GO Church will be partnering with Hope Global for SERVE MONTH this year. Hope Global Initiative is a community development corporation that provides comprehensive and holistic services and programs for the disadvantaged and underserved children, youth and families in communities, locally and around the globe. Our desire is to provide a central location that offers programs that include education, workshops, leadership and character development, mentoring, and recreational field trips. We believe that we should help people develop their skills rather than focus on their deficits. We believe that if a sense of individual responsibility is established the community at large can do life together with a sense of pride and accomplishment. Only then can we nurture, support, strengthen and transform communities by building strong families and healthy, safe neighborhoods.
